Biography
Rebecca Aldridge is the senior editor for financial content at Calculator Archive. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, and worked in fixed-income research before moving full-time into financial education writing.
She owns the guides behind our finance tools: compound interest, loan amortization, inflation and purchasing power, and retirement withdrawal research. Every formula she publishes is checked against a primary source — the CFPB amortization explainer, the Federal Reserve H.15 rate release, IRS contribution limits, and the original Trinity University (1998) withdrawal study — and every figure is worked through with a numeric example before it goes live.
Editorial Focus
- Compound interest and annuity mathematics
- Mortgage amortization and extra-payment strategies
- Inflation, real returns, and the Fisher relation
- Retirement withdrawal research (Trinity Study and the 4% rule)
