In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform.

This DMCA Policy outlines the procedure for reporting copyright infringements, filing counter-notifications, and our approach to handling repeat infringers. By using Calculator Archive, you agree to comply with this policy.

1Copyright Ownership

All original content on Calculator Archive, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, calculator algorithms, software code, design layouts, and documentation, is the property of Calculator Archive and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Calculator results, mathematical formulas, and educational explanations are generated dynamically and may not be subject to copyright protection. However, the presentation, selection, arrangement, and annotation of such content is original work protected under copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from Calculator Archive without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by this policy.

2Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on Calculator Archive, please notify our designated DMCA Agent. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:

2.1 Required Information

A valid DMCA takedown notice must include all of the following:

  • Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., title, URL, registration number)
  • Identification of the infringing material and its specific location on Calculator Archive (URL or page description)
  • Your contact information — full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

2.2 How to Submit

Send your completed DMCA takedown notice to our designated DMCA Agent via email:

Email: dmca@calculatorarchive.com

Subject line: "DMCA Takedown Request — [Your Name]"

We will review and respond to all valid notices within 2 business days. We may need to contact you for additional information before processing your request.

2.3 Processing Timeline

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Calculator Archive will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 2 business days
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  3. Notify the user who posted the material of the takedown
  4. Provide the user with a copy of your DMCA notice
  5. Document the takedown for our records

3Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our DMCA Agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same DMCA Agent email address listed above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. 5Good Faith & Perjury Warning

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that it was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages.

Warning

Filing a DMCA notice under penalty of perjury is a serious legal action. Making false claims of copyright infringement may result in legal liability and could be considered abuse of the DMCA process. Ensure that you are the rightful copyright owner or authorized representative before submitting a notice.

Calculator Archive reserves the right to pursue legal remedies against individuals who abuse the DMCA notice process by submitting knowingly false or fraudulent takedown requests.

6Repeat Infringers Policy

Calculator Archive maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice or has had content removed more than twice.

We will make reasonable efforts to contact users before account termination when possible. However, we reserve the right to immediately terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of egregious or willful infringement.

Calculator Archive may, at its sole discretion, limit access to the platform or terminate accounts of any user who infringes any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

7Transparency Reporting

Calculator Archive is committed to transparency in our DMCA process. We will maintain records of all DMCA notices received, actions taken, and counter-notifications filed. Upon request, we may provide summary statistics of our DMCA activity.

We reserve the right to publish or disclose DMCA-related information as required by law or to protect our legal rights and the rights of our users.
